Consignment Terms and Conditions
The normal consignment period is for 60 days. During that time there could be special markdown sales to help move your consigned items. After 45 days the items will be reduced.
Selling prices will be set by Management and are comprised of the consignment price and a buyer’s fee. After an item sells, the consignor will be credited 40% of the consignment price.
Our annual consignment fee is $5.00 per consignor and will be deducted from the first sale posted to your account. This charge is non-refundable and is only good for one year. The fee covers book-keeping expenses associated with maintaining your account. Accounts that are inactive for one year will automatically be closed and all monies will be forfeited to Empty Hangers, LLC.

We will accept clothing according to season:
SPRING/SUMMER – January thru July
FALL/WINTER – August thru December
Winter Coats accepted starting October 1
Appointments prefered on Monday through Thursday
Non seasonal items (handbags, shoes, jewelry, and collectibles) can be accepted on an individual basis.
We also accept furniture. Send us a photo of your piece and if we can use it we will set up a time for your delivery.
Terms are 50/50. If it does not sell you will be responsible for picking it up.
Empty Hangers is always on the move checking out other stores to ensure that our pricing of items are not too high or too low. We are also checking out new styles in fashion stores and on the internet. We are constantly checking prices on items that are brought into the store. Items are generally priced based on a percentage of the original value.
Empty Hangers items are priced based on what we think our customers will pay for an item. High ticket items are researched and priced accordingly. All items are also priced according to brand, style, fabric content, demand, size, seasonality, number of items already in stock and its age.
